Applications are invited for a permanent, full-time Design and Technology Technician position in the Senior School’s DT Department. The main functions are to work alongside our existing DT Technician and support a team of DT Teachers in the preparation of practicals and the maintenance of departmental equipment and resources to aid the teaching of pupils from Year 7 to Sixth Form.
Professional development
The ideal candidate will have a product design/craft qualification or a designing/making background. The position could also offer professional development within education. You will need to have strengths in ICT, knowledge of computer aided design and manufacturing techniques, while experience in the education sector would be advantageous. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, an independent approach to tasks, and be comfortable working closely with young people.
