General Admissions Information

The main points of entry to the UCS Senior School are at 11+ (for Year 7) for boys and 16+ (for Year 12) for girls. A small number of boys also admitted at 16+. Parents interested in their son or daughter applying for a place should, in the first instance, contact us at the very start of the academic year prior to entry for 11+ and 16+.

Open evenings run during the autumn term and the dates of these are currently listed in the Open Evenings and Prospectus section. If you wish to attend one of these open evenings, please visit the Open Evenings section where you will find a link to submit an online initial interest form. At present we are not taking bookings for school tours but we anticipate that we will be able to run these again from the start of the 2021/22 academic year. We would therefore invite you to get in touch with the admissions office next term to discuss a date a time to visit the school.

Eligibility for Fee Assistance is assessed as part of the application process.  Fee Assistance is means-tested, but there are also Music Scholarships available. For further information, please see the Bursaries & Scholarships page.
