UCS A Level Results Day 2024: A Year of Exceptional Achievement

This morning, the Class of 2024 awoke with a sunny blue sky as they opened their long-awaited A Level results, eager to reap the rewards of their hard work and dedication to their studies.
Very impressively, over 30% of all grades awarded were A*s, 72% were A*-A and 93% were A*-B, representing some of the very best results the school has achieved.

For those that applied to university, the vast majority were offered their first or insurance choices, allowing them to now pursue academic paths aligned with their evolving passions and interests. Popular fields of study for this cohort include Creative Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Engineering. Geography and History have also been particularly sought-after this year, with our pupils receiving offers from several prestigious universities.
University destinations include Imperial College London, Leeds, Bristol, Bath, Cambridge and Oxford, taking in STEM courses such as Maths and Medicine. Additionally, several pupils are heading to study in the very best International institutions, including NYU, Penn, US Berkeley, Miami, University of Southern California, McGill and University of South Florida.

I would like to thank all of my great teachers at UCS, who gave me fantastic support and encouragement” Michael continued “I have hugely enjoyed my time at UCS and will miss it greatly. I would like to thank everyone at UCS and the headmaster Mr Beard especially, for making UCS such a great school
Samir, Vice Captain of Monitors, was also celebrating with friends on the front steps of Frognal this morning, and his words encapsulated the joyous atmosphere of the day. “Thank you to the teachers first, what contributed to our grades was not just our hard work but the accessibility of support they provided outside of the classroom, offering their time and council, even our form tutors who may not teach us any subjects provided endless pastoral support through their wisdom” Samir is one of our aspiring Medics to be who achieved three A*s and one A and eagerly anticipates embarking on his medical journey at UCL.
