New UCS website links style with substance
UCS Hampstead is delighted to announce the launch of its new school website which will provide a thorough and definitive source of news and information about the UCS Foundation – Senior School, Junior Branch and Pre-Prep.
UCS teamed up with creative digital agency The Web Kitchen to produce a bespoke website that both conveys the passion and integrity of our partner TWK and bears honest witness to the enlightened education – with its signature breadth of study, independence of mind and intellectual curiosity – which UCS aspires to deliver.
Like a UCS education, the site aims to stimulate, enrich and inform. It contains all the essential information that parents, both current and future, will be searching for, including detailed Admissions pages and online application forms for the Senior School, Junior Branch and Pre-Prep. Fee assistance and Music Scholarships are covered in detail.
The three component schools of the UCS Foundation, along with the Sixth Form, have their own dedicated sections which bring to life the educational provision in umbrella terms like Pastoral care, Academic, Co-curricular and Results. A video tour of the school as well as vivid vignettes of our Drama, Sport and Music offerings add further colour.
UCS Foundation Headmaster, Mark Beard, spells out the type of school we are – one that places equal and unstinting emphasis on the academic excellence and well-rounded personal development of pupils.
Other notable sections are Community, expanding on the various forms of Community outreach and Partnerships work we do – sustained by our curious and kind pupils and hugely committed teachers – job vacancies, Policies and inspection reports, and alumni relations.
“The Web Kitchen has extensive experience of working with independent schools and brought passion, positivity and professionalism to this project,” said Mr Beard. “We are fortunate to have found a partner as bold, aspirational and innovative as we strive to be.
“We are particularly thankful for the efforts of TWK Project Manager, Jonny Moore, and our Assistant Head for Partnerships and PR, Sophie Bennett, who have driven and directed this project from initial conversations through to very successful conclusion.”
