We are looking for a Head of Community Engagement to join the Development Team at UCS. This position is offered on a fixed-term, one-year basis. The current role holder works 4 days a week and we are flexible across 0.6, 0.8, or 1.0 FTE, though our preference is for full time. The post holder will work to strengthen the relationships between Old Gowers (alumni) and the School, and between other Old Gowers.
They will engage parents and friends in the life of the School and the work of the Development Office. They will work closely with the Old Gowers’ Association to amplify our messaging and develop a coherent strategic framework. They will be an internal link with academic staff and non-academic staff across the UCS Foundation.
The Head of Community Engagement reports to the Director of Development and Community Engagement. They will work to engage a wide range of constituents and supporters (alumni, parents, donors) in the work of the Development Office and the School.
This post is essential both internally and externally to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the Development Office. Of particular are the events programme (3 flagship events, and other more bespoke offerings) and communications programme (quarterly newsletter + ad hoc comms).
