Open Evenings

The next set of Open Evenings for both entry points to the Senior School will take place during Autumn Term 2025 prior to the respective application deadlines. These evenings are highly recommended for all parents interested in applying for 2026 entry.

11+ Open Evenings:  Thursday 18th September, Tuesday 7th October and Monday 13th October
16+ Open Evenings: Thursday 11th September and Monday 22nd September

Opening Evenings begin at 5pm with a series of talks in the Great Hall and a self-guided tour of the school during which families can visit departmental areas and meet with teaching staff and pupils. There is no requirement to register to attend these events.

In addition, we hold an information evening each October for families who have applied for, or who are considering applying for, an 11+ place with fee assistance (a bursary) for the following September. The date of next year’s event will be confirmed in due course. There is no need to register for this event.

We also arrange an evening for families considering an application for a Music Scholarship. The date for next year’s Music Scholarship evening will be confirmed in due course. Please contact [email protected] for further details.

Senior School Tours

School tours led by our current pupils operate during the daytime. Along with our Open Evenings, daytime tours are an excellent way of getting to know us better.

Families interested in applying for an 11+ place to join Year 7 in September 2026, or for a 16+ place to join Year 12 in September 2026, are warmly invited to contact the Admissions Office at [email protected] to book a tour during the Spring term of 2025.

Junior Branch

Open Evenings for the Junior Branch taking place in 2025 will be on the following dates: Wednesday 14th May, Wednesday 4th June, Wednesday 10th September.

They will start at 4.15pm with a tour of the school by current Year 6 pupils, followed by a talk for parents from the Headmaster, while the boys participate in outside games with members of staff.  To reserve a place,  please email [email protected] with your family name and preferred date.

Informal Assessments will take place during October and November 2025.

Applications for 2024 entry are closed.  The 7+ Exam will be on Monday 6th January 2025.

Pre-Prep

Parents interested in applying to the Pre-Prep for their child for 4+ (Reception) are invited to book into one of our small tours.

We run tours twice a week, which will give you an opportunity to view the school during a normal school day and meet the Headmistress. You may book your tour by calling our Admissions Secretary on 0207 722 4433.
