Job description
We are looking to appoint a part-time SEN Teacher (working three days per week, precise days TBA) starting in September 2023.
Team player
The role will involve working in collaboration and under the direction of UCS’s Lower Foundation (Junior Branch and Pre-Prep) SENCO at the Junior Branch site, working with individual and small groups of children and assisting or supporting in class. The person appointed will be a qualified SEN teacher with a warm, friendly and outgoing personality.
We are looking for a team player who can work collaboratively with other teachers and teaching assistants. The role will also require periodic meetings with parents and appropriate skills and time with planning and documentation. here will also be an expectation to assist with some playground duties and other forms of child supervision. A willingness to accompany school trips would also be an advantage.
