We are looking for a Development Operations Manager to join the Development Team at UCS. This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Director of Development, the post holder will be fundamental to the success of the office, and therefore the school’s fundraising campaign. In the build-up to the school’s 200th anniversary in 2030, UCS is forming a dynamic and high-performing development function and this role is a key part of that.

Role and responsibilities

The new appointee will manage our CRM system for the office (Raiser’s Edge) and will work to improve processes, provide reporting, manage data, lead on prospect research and pipelines, and enable the work of the whole team.

The Development Operations Manager reports to the Director of Development and Alumni Relations. They will work closely with all members of the Development Office to support their work in engaging Old Gowers, parents and donors, and will champion effective data processes. There is also a key relationship with the Finance Team to ensure swift and accurate reconciliation of all gift information.

Additionally, the post holder will build reporting and insight functionality, and work to improve our processes, from prospect research to gift administration. This position will underpin the engagement of our parent, Old Gower and supporter constituencies, and will play a vital role in both our fundraising and our alumni relations.
